When you start Ovulation Calendar Calculator for the first time
the program first needs to know a few things about your goals and your ovulation cycle.
You will notice that at the bottom of the calendar form there are four input boxes for
you to enter this information.
Step1: Select your GoalYou have an option to select one of four goals:
Step2: Select the date of your last periodThe accuracy of the graph calculated depends on you periodically updating the date of your last period. You should keep this information updated at least once every 8 weeks.Step3: Select the length of your menstrual cycleThe average length of a woman's menstrual cycle is 28 days. However, it's normal for the length to be longer or shorter. To determine the length of you cycle, you need to count the number of days between your periods (first day of bleeding). Don't forget to add 1 for the first day.Step4: Luteal PhaseThe luteal phase is the latter phase of your ovulation cycle. It starts after ovulation and ends one day before your next period. Most women have a luteal phase of 14 days. If you do not know the length, you may leave it at 14 or ask your doctor how you can determine the length of your Luteal Phase.See the diagram |
